iO is a multi-purpose control card that enables you to form a bridge between your software and hardware.
Its microcontroller can run the applications that you upload on it via USB either standalone or in communication with the computer through the USB connection.
Its connection pins can be configured to be used independently as PWM, ADC, I2C, interrupt signal input, or digital input/output.
With its small dimensions (6cm x 4cm), it can easily be carried around and fit in small robot prototypes.
It can be programmed using free programming tools (GCC, Avrdude). It is easily reachable from any programming environment of your choice (Python, C/C++, Java, C#, MatLab).
Through the experiment interface, you can easily administer the input and ouput functions from your computer, and perform your tests and prototype implementations effortlessly.
